We are looking for a strong Production Planner with experience in production planning, production control, or supply chain operations within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and capable of coordinating production schedules, materials, resources, and customer requirements to ensure efficient operations and on-time delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer orders, forecasts, inventory levels, and manufacturing capacity.
- Prioritize production activities according to customer requirements and business objectives.
- Plan production workloads and capacity while identifying potential bottlenecks.
- Adjust production plans based on order changes, material availability, equipment issues, and operational constraints.
- Release, schedule, and monitor work orders according to company procedures.
- Monitor daily production performance against the approved plan.
- Identify deviations and proactively communicate production and delivery risks.
- Track critical customer orders and delivery commitments.
- Verify raw material and component availability required for production.
- Coordinate with Procurement and Warehouse teams to prevent material shortages.
- Collaborate with Production, Sales, Customer Service, Engineering, Quality, and other teams to ensure smooth production execution.
- Analyze planning and production data to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
- Support initiatives that improve planning accuracy, delivery performance, capacity utilization, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or relevant education in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Production Planning, or a related field is an advantage.
- Previous experience in Production Planning or Production Control within a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in ERP systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to analyze and interpret data.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, inventory management, and supply chain operations.
- Strong planning, organization, and prioritization skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- High level of ownership, accountability, and ability to proactively identify and escalate issues.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in production planning and control within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong ERP and production planning system experience.
- Experience coordinating with Procurement, Warehouse, Production, Quality, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Service teams.
- Experience identifying production bottlenecks, material shortages, and capacity constraints.
- Experience with continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
