Job Summary:

The Administrative Service Officer 3 (ASO 3) performs complex administrative, operational, and analytical functions to support Business and Finance leadership and financial objectives. Reporting to designated unit leadership, this role develops daily workflows, conducts operational analyses, performs financial analysis using multiple data sources, works collaboratively with Business and Finance and program teams and assists in developing complex financial projection tools.

This position is available for remote work per department needs within Arizona (including virtual office arrangements).

Job Duties: What You’ll Do:

- Administrative Workflows & Program Compliance: Collaborate on daily administrative operations, refine internal procedures, and monitor program compliance against State of Arizona policies and agency objectives.

- Budgetary & Fiscal analysis: Prepare and monitor program budgets, track operational expenditures, review and analyze financial statements, and collaborate on development of complex financial projections. Utilize Excel and similar tools for analysis.

- Operational Analysis & Strategic Reporting: Evaluate program performance metrics, generate complex ad-hoc and routine analytical reports, assess program effectiveness, and deliver actionable recommendations to leadership.

- Stakeholder Liaison & Operational Issue Resolution: Serve as collaborative liaison between administrative leadership, internal units, and external stakeholders to facilitate program goals and resolve operational bottlenecks.

- Budgeting and Fiscal Management: Analyze operational spending, analyze allocations of department financial assets, and monitor budget lines.
