Operations roles coordinate across teams to make the business run predictably. That means process design, metric tracking, tooling, and removing blockers — done over Slack, Notion, spreadsheets and internal systems. The remote nature fits naturally because the work is already tool- and async-first.
Are operations jobs hard to get remotely?
Junior operations roles are competitive, but mid-level (3-5 years, ops-adjacent experience like project management or analysis) is very achievable.
