Jobs API & MCP server

129,199 live remote postings, refreshed hourly. Two REST endpoints and one MCP server. The open endpoint needs no key, no signup and no attribution beyond a link; it is built for assistants and integrations that would otherwise scrape fifty HTML pages to answer one question.

Endpoints

GET /api/v1/jobs.open — open, no key

Params: q, tag, category, country (ISO-2), anywhere=1, source, min_posted=YYYY-MM-DD, sort, page (≤200), per (≤25).
Returns summaries with detail_url (our canonical page — always present, please link it) and apply_url (the employer's own posting, null when we have no employer link — fall back to detail_url).
meta.total is 0 when nothing matches; do not present that as a result.

GET /api/v1/jobs — token-gated, full descriptions

Same filters plus limit (≤200) and offset; adds the full job description body. Send Authorization: Bearer <key> or ?key=. Without a valid key it returns 401.

Streamable-HTTP MCP endpoint at https://remoshift.com/mcp — add {"url": "https://remoshift.com/mcp"} to any MCP client. Server card: /.well-known/mcp.json.

Contracts and limits

OpenAPI 3.1 specification — every parameter and response field.
llms.txt — the same contract written for language models.
Rate limit: 60 requests/minute per IP on the open endpoint.
Data refreshes hourly — cache your results rather than polling per request.
Nothing here costs money and there is no signup for the open endpoint.
