SAP Process Integration (PI) Process Orchestration (PO) Integration Engineer
Position Summary
K.L. Scott & Associates, LLC seeks an SAP PI/PO Integration Engineer to develop and maintain interfaces between SAP and connected systems for federal clients. This role supports reliable data exchange through sound interface design, secure connectivity, testing, monitoring, and timely incident resolution.
Core Responsibilities
- Translate interface requirements into integration designs, data mappings, and documented message flows.
- Develop and configure SAP Process Integration and Process Orchestration interfaces and communication channels.
- Implement mappings, routing, adapters, and error handling for exchanges between SAP and external systems.
- Coordinate authentication, certificates, connectivity, and protection of sensitive data with security teams.
- Execute integration and regression testing, monitor message processing, and troubleshoot failed transactions.
- Manage approved interface changes and maintain specifications, deployment instructions, and support procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- At least five years of experience working on the SAP platform.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience.
- Experience supporting federal government programs.
- Proficiency in SAP PI/PO integration design, message mapping, adapters, and operational troubleshooting.
- Working knowledge of XML, web services, REST, SOAP, and SAP interface mechanisms such as IDocs or RFCs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP Student Lifecycle Management (SLcM) and Federal Department of War (DOW) programs is preferred
- Secret Clearance eligible.
