DevSecOps and Security Compliance Engineer
Position Summary
K.L. Scott & Associates, LLC seeks a DevSecOps and Security Compliance Engineer to integrate security into SAP delivery and operations for federal clients. This role improves deployment controls, identifies vulnerabilities, and maintains evidence that supports client security reviews and authorization activities.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automation for builds, testing, security checks, and controlled SAP deployments.
- Integrate code, dependency, configuration, and vulnerability checks into development and release workflows.
- Coordinate access controls, secrets management, secure configurations, and audit logging with technical teams.
- Assess findings, prioritize remediation, validate fixes, and track outstanding security risks.
- Maintain security documentation and control evidence for client reviews and authorization activities.
- Support monitoring, incident response, and release approvals in accordance with applicable client requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- At least five years of experience working on the SAP platform.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience.
- Experience supporting federal government programs.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, scripting, vulnerability management, and security practices for SAP environments.
- Familiarity with federal security assessment processes, control documentation, and configuration management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP Student Lifecycle Management (SLcM) and Federal Department of War (DOW) programs is preferred
- Secret Clearance eligible.
