About the job:
Key responsibilities:

1. Inbound lead handling from start to finish: qualifying leads quickly, running demos, sending quotes and closing. Most DivineAPI leads come in on their own, so speed and follow-up discipline matter more than cold calling.

2. Consultative B2B SaaS selling: finding out what the client is building (a kundli app, a horoscope widget, a matchmaking site) and matching it to the right endpoints and plan.

3. Negotiation and pricing: handling usage-based or tiered API pricing, custom quotes, and upgrades or renewals.

4. Pipeline discipline: logging every lead, demo and follow-up in a tracker such as Jira, and forecasting accurately.

Other Requirements:
- Product and technical understanding
- 1. API basics: what an endpoint, an API key, rate limits, JSON responses and documentation are. They don’t need to code, but they should be comfortable walking a developer through the docs or a Postman call.
- 2. Astrology domain knowledge: familiarity with terms like kundli, panchang, dasha, tarot and numerology, so they can talk credibly to astrology businesses.
- 3. Demo skills: showing live API output and explaining how it fits into the client’s app.
- 4. Basic understanding of payment and invoicing workflows
