Remote US Bookkeeper & Tax Preparer – Full-Time

ABOUT US

TMB Tax Bureau is a US tax and bookkeeping firm serving 15,000+ clients since 2005. We're growing our remote team and need someone who is accurate, reliable, and shows up every day.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Categorize transactions and reconcile bank and credit card accounts monthly

- Prepare month-end close reports (close starts the 29th, done by the 5th)

- Support payroll prep for the 15th and 25th pay cycles

- Prepare US individual and small business returns (1040, Schedule C; 1120-S/1065 a plus)

- Organize client documents and follow up on missing items

- Flag errors and questions instead of guessing

WHAT WE EXPECT

- 2+ years of US bookkeeping and/or tax experience

- Strong QuickBooks Online skills (Xero a plus)

- Clear written English and fast replies during working hours

- Some overlap with US Central business hours, plus extra availability during tax season (Jan–Apr)

- Log all time in **Trackabi**, accurately, every shift

- Update tasks and leave notes on every project in **Upbase**

- Work inside **GoHighLevel** for client communication and pipelines

- Get paid via **Remitly**, so have an account ready

- Reliable internet, a working computer, and a quiet workspace

- Keep client information strictly confidential

PAY

Starting rate $3.50/hr. Performance review at 45 days, with an increase to $5/hr for strong performers.
