Job Title: Nutanix Engineer/ Networking IT Support Engineer
Location: Christmas Island

Employment Type: Freelance (On-Call Basis)

Role Overview

We are hiring a Nutanix Engineer/ Networking IT Support Engineer to support enterprise infrastructure environments. This role requires flexibility for on-call support and the ability to work across regional time zones.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy and manage Nutanix HCI environments (AOS, AHV, Prism)

- Perform upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management

- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues

- Implement backup and disaster recovery solutions

- Provide on-call incident response support

- Work with global teams on cloud and infrastructure projects

- Maintain system documentation

Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years in infrastructure or virtualization engineering

- Strong experience with Nutanix stack

- Knowledge of VMware or Hyper-V

- Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP)

- Experience with DR and backup tools

- Scripting (PowerShell/Python) is advantageous

Preferred Qualifications

- Nutanix Certification (NCP or higher)

- CCNA

- Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP

- Automation tools knowledge (Ansible, Terraform)

Soft Skills
- Strong communication skills (Local language & English preferred)

- Ability to handle critical incidents

- Team-oriented and proactive
