- Support and maintain both self-hosted and Atlassian Cloud (SaaS) environments as needed, with migration readiness and hybrid expertise.

- Manage user permissions, projects, workflows, schemes, plugins, and integrations.

- Administer Confluence spaces, templates, and macros; manage permissions and integrations with Jira and external systems.

- Ensure system reliability, uptime, performance, and backups.

- Support the transition to or coexistence with Atlassian Cloud, including user provisioning, SSO integration (Okta, Azure AD), and cloud-based app support.

Process Automation & Tooling :

- Support team initiatives by automating common processes and reporting.

- Implement best practices for issue tracking, agile boards, SLAs, and project templates.

- Integrate Jira/Confluence with other tools like Azure DevOps.

- Administer and customize apps like ScriptRunner, Automation for Jira, Insight/Assets, etc.

- Build lightweight automations and integrations using REST API, Groovy, and automation rules.

User & Service Support:

- Respond to service desk tickets related to Jira/Confluence and other supported tools.

- Provide user training, documentation, and technical support to internal teams.

Team Collaboration:

- Work closely with stakeholders from Engineering, Security, and Operations.

- Contribute to internal projects such as access automation, or policy implementations.

- Assist with other tools and platforms under the Enterprise Operations scope.

Requirements

- 7+ years of experience as a Jira/Confluence Administrator, preferably in a self-hosted environment.

- Proficiency with Jira project/workflow configurations, custom fields, dashboards, permission schemes.

- Experience with Linux system administration, scripting (Bash, Python), and application monitoring.

- Familiarity with ITSM or agile workflows.

- Comfortable supporting users and resolving technical tickets.

- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills, with a proven record of cross-functional teamwork.

- Proven ability to deliver high-quality, maintainable solutions in a fast-paced environment.

- Demonstrated commitment to ownership, continuous improvement, and being a reliable, respectful team member.

Preferred qualifications:

- Atlassian Certifications (ACP-100, ACP-120, ACP-200)

- Experience supporting both Atlassian Server/Data Center and Cloud

- Familiarity with Agile/DevOps toolchains (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitLab, CI/CD systems)

- Familiarity with SSO/IDP integration (e.g., Okta, Azure AD)

- Experience with ScriptRunner, REST API, or automation tools
