Position: Sonic Audit Specialist - Italian
Type: Contract
Compensation: $40/hour
Location: Remote
Role Responsibilities

- Evaluate AI training data in Italian by auditing transcription accuracy and forced alignment.

- Review and judge transcriptions for accuracy using a fixed set of error codes. Provide a pass or fail verdict with a rationale.

- Verify and correct audio segment timestamps for word-level alignment. Adjust segments as needed for accuracy.

- Apply consistent standards across judgments, ensuring careful listening and detailed feedback.

- Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.

Qualifications

Must-Have

- Native or near-native command of Italian as spoken in Italy.

- Strong English reading and writing skills.

- Experience in transcription, subtitling, localization, linguistic annotation, or QA.

- Ability to apply a disciplined rubric consistently.

Preferred

- Prior AI data annotation or model evaluation experience.

- Background in phonetics or linguistics .

- Experience with audio editing or waveform tools.
