Conveyancing Assistant

Salary: R29 000 - R32 000 per month

Remote Recruitment is hiring a Conveyancing Assistant for a UK employer, fully remote from South Africa.
Role overview

You will support UK conveyancers through the file: ordering searches, preparing packs, chasing third parties and keeping clients updated so transactions do not stall in silence. It suits someone organised who enjoys steady progress.

You will work 09:00-17:00 UK time (11:00-19:00 SAST) from home, with equipment guidance, a proper induction and a manager who is contactable through the day. This is a permanent role, not a short contract.
Key responsibilities

- Open files, run client checks and prepare initial packs

- Order property searches and chase results

- Prepare draft contracts, forms and completion statements

- Liaise with estate agents, lenders and the other side

- Keep the case management system accurate and up to date

- Update clients on progress at agreed milestones

What you'll need

- Experience supporting conveyancing, property law or legal case administration

- Familiarity with a legal case management system

- Strong accuracy with dates, forms and file documentation

- Clear, reassuring written and phone communication with clients

- Reliable home internet and a quiet space for UK-hours work

Nice to have

- Exposure to Land Registry applications

- Experience with leasehold transactions

- Familiarity with anti-money-laundering checks
