Job Description
The Compliance Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate and complete student compliance documentation within the school's Student Information System (SIS). This position ensures student records meet state, federal, and organizational requirements by collecting, reviewing, updating, and monitoring compliance-related documentation. The Compliance Clerk works collaboratively with school staff, families, and external partners to support student enrollment, attendance, and records compliance processes.

RESIDENCY REQUIREMENT: Ohio resident preferred

Will consider applicants from a surrounding state to Ohio within one hundred miles from the Ohio border.

Border states include Michigan, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Kentucky, and Indiana.

Applicants must be able to meet travel requirements and be willing and able to obtain Ohio Certification.

Student success will be measured by valid and reliable assessment data, parent and student satisfaction, and continued institutional growth within the academic community.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

Maintain and update student compliance records within the Student Information System.

Review, collect, verify, and process required student residency documentation.

Monitor student records for missing, incomplete, or expired documentation and take appropriate action to obtain required information.

Ensure student records are accurate, current, and compliant with applicable state, federal, and organizational requirements.

Generate reports and track compliance metrics using the Student Information System and other software tools.

Communicate with families, school staff, and external agencies regarding documentation requirements and record discrepancies.

Assist with audits, state reporting, and internal compliance reviews by providing accurate documentation and records.

Maintain confidentiality of student information and records in accordance with FERPA and organizational policies.

Support enrollment and records management processes as needed.

Identify and resolve data entry errors and record inconsistencies in a timely manner.

- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This role has no supervisory responsibilities.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :

- High School Diploma or GED required.

Minimum of two (2) years of related administrative, records management, compliance, or data-entry experience required.

Experience working in a school environment preferred.

-
PowerSchool Student Information System (SIS) experience is a plus.

Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collab
