Billing Collections Specialist (DME - CPAP & Supplies)

Role: Billing Collections Specialist
Compensation: Competitive Basic Salary

Bonus: 5,000 Perfect Attendance (If applicable).

Benefits: HMO plus 2 Free Dependents, P1,500 Rice Allowance, Night Differential (If applicable).

Work Schedule: 5-day work week, Monday to Friday, 9pm to 6am Philippine time
Work Setup: WFH or WFO (San Fernando, Pampanga)


Responsibilities:

-  Confirm DME sales orders

- Submit and manage third-party payer claims

- Post insurance and patient payments accurately

- Work claim denials and perform status checks on open claims

- Navigate insurance portals and upload required documentation

- Assist in obtaining annual Detailed Written Orders (DWOs)

- Work Stop/Held reports

- Conduct financial follow-up with patients regarding past-due balances or breached payment plans

- Respond to inbound customer calls and emails

- Participate in compliance reviews and audits (HIPAA, Medicare, accreditation standards)

- Collaborate cross-functionally with Intake, Sales, and Billing teams

- Maintain clear communication and contribute process improvement suggestions

- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

- High School Diploma (minimum)

- Minimum 4+ years of medical billing experience

- Experience billing multiple insurance payers

- Strong knowledge of:

- HCPCS codes

- ICD-10 codes

- EOBs and ERNs

- Medical terminology

- Experience with DME billing systems (strongly preferred)

- DME sleep therapy billing experience (strongly preferred)

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic level)
