Job Overview
The Health Information Systems Technology Program at UC Clermont is seeking qualified individuals to teach in its online Trauma Registry Management program. This posting invites applications to the general adjunct pool, from which part-time faculty are selected to teach online courses as scheduling and enrollment needs arise.
Essential Functions
- On a part-time basis, conduct and teach assigned undergraduate courses.
- Engage in other activities ancillary to or in support of responsibilities.
- Review, and where necessary, respond in a timely manner to all University-related communications.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- Current certification as a Certified Specialist in Trauma Registries (CSTR) and/or Certified Abbreviated Injury Scale Specialist (CAISS)
- Five (5) years of professional experience in trauma registry or a related field
Additional Qualifications Considered
- Bachelor's degree, in addition to CSTR and CAISS certification
- Five (5) years of professional experience in trauma registry, trauma data management, trauma quality improvement, trauma program management or a closely related field
- One to two (1-2) years prior online teaching experience or experience delivering trauma registry education, training, mentoring or professional development workshops and/or programs
- Experience with trauma data standards and regulatory programs, including ACS, NTDS, and TQIP.
