Location: Pisa, Italy (CET) Remote: Yes, remote only Willing to relocate: No Technologies: Python, LLM/agent orchestration, local embeddings, retrieval evaluation, AWS (Lambda/SQS/EventBridge), Terraform, Django, PostgreSQL, LightGBM/PyTorch, NLP/Transformers Résumé/CV: linkedin.com/in/vslovik Code: github.com/vslovik/fenix — local-embedding search whose relevance is actually measured: labelled control probes, blinded human ranking, precision@k. No API keys. Email: valeriya.slovikovskaya@gmail.com Software architect, 15+ years in production systems, almost entirely startups and internal startups — fintech, e-commerce, pharma, publishing. The work I get pulled into is the recurring startup problem: a service shipped fast under launch pressure, without adequate tests, that later has to be made reliable without being stopped. Incident response, re-architecture, and the release discipline that keeps it from happening again. Most recently that has meant a regulated UK consumer-credit platform — loan servicing, arrears, forbearance, statutory breathing space, and early-settlement calculations written against consumer-credit legislation. Regulation as code, behind a test suite larger than the production codebase. I've done that in all three configurations: taking a core system from problem statement to release, leading the team that carried it (1 to 7 engineers in ten months), and now doing the same work again with agentic tooling covering what the team used to. On the data side: a LightGBM acquisition model over a 38M-row base — 0.77 test AUC, 8x lift in the top 1% — scoring 2.9M households for a live campaign. The part I'd rather be judged on is what happened next: I found a validation-set defect in my own pipeline (early stopping on the test split), quantified its effect across every figure I had already reported, restated them, and added a pure-noise regression test that pins the model to chance when fed random features — so that class of leak cannot come back quietly. NLP is hands-on rather than API-deep: my degree thesis fine-tuned BERT, RoBERTa and XLNet to state of the art on the FNC-1 stance-detection benchmark, published at LREC 2020. Building on my own time: github.com/vslovik/fenix — it ranks an incoming stream against a free-text description of what you're looking for, and answers questions over the same corpus with citations back to source chunks. Ollama embeddings, sqlite-vec, no API keys. The part worth looking at is the evaluation: the ranking anchor is scored against a labelled probe set with a deliberate control group of things I don't want, and live results are rated blind — scores hidden, order shuffled — so the human judgement stays independent of the ranking it is judging. Doing that produced a measured finding I did not expect: an embedding has no notion of negation, so naming a technology in order to reject it moves the anchor toward it. Numbers and method in lessons/embedding-anchors.md. Also a tool-calling agent that turns unstructured regulatory text into a deterministic calculation pipeline — the model does the extraction, a deterministic engine does the arithmetic. Looking for agentic AI/LLM engineering, LLM evaluation and observability, AI integration, or software architecture. Founding-engineer shape suits me — early employee, not co-founder, but early enough to be in the room where the work gets defined. Direct with the company that owns the product: not consultancy, not agency placement, not a body on someone else's engagement.·Remote

Empower Pharmacy is hiring engineers to work on event-driven, distributed systems that actually run a real-world business (regulated pharma), not ad tech or yet another CRUD SaaS. We just filled one Staff Engineer role directly from my last LinkedIn post (thanks to everyone who shared/applied). Now we’re expanding the team: - 1 Staff Software Engineer - 4 Senior Software Engineers - 4 Software Engineers (new grad / early career) All roles are US-based (remote within the US). We’re a small team owning the core platforms that run manufacturing, operations, and logistics. A lot of the work is greenfield or foundational: distributed systems, workflow orchestration, reliability/observability, and making it all scale in a domain where correctness actually matters. Tech stack: Java / Spring Boot, React / Next.js, Azure (Service Bus, Kubernetes), SQL Server. Event-driven, service-oriented architecture at enterprise scale. We use AI-assisted development heavily in the workflow (not as a bolt-on), so if you already lean on tools like Copilot/LLMs, you’ll be at home. We’re setting up a round-robin “Virtual Interview Day” early next week so we can run both interview rounds in a single day for candidates who advance. The process is straightforward: practical discussions, system design, and code; no brainteasers. If you: - like thinking in terms of systems and failure modes, - are comfortable across the stack (or want to grow there), - and want your work to have direct impact on how a real business operates, then I’d like to talk. Job description and application: If you’d rather skip the form, email me or DM me and include a GitHub/LinkedIn/resume and a short note on what you’ve built.·Remote

Common Prefix – Software Engineers / Auditors – Greece – Remote – Full-Time Common Prefix is a science-first blockchain consulting company. Our vision is to make blockchains usable for mainstream users and everyday people – paying at the supermarket, remittances, moving money across borders, saving, investing – and solving the real problems of usability, scalability, and interoperability that come with it. We're a 30-person team, half scientists (cryptographer PhDs, post-docs, and professors) from renowned universities, half engineers with long web2 experience. A lot of our field is broken and we're trying to make a small contribution in fixing it, by introducing provable security and proper engineering practices across the board. What we're looking for: Software engineers who can solve problems, are smart, get things done, and enjoy working on the bleeding edge, learning about cryptography, and working from first-principles. Auditors who can write and read code, especially low-level cryptographic implementation code (zero knowledge verifiers, signature schemes, etc), consensus (PoW, PoS), or smart contracts (everything DeFi). Tech stack: Doesn't matter, we'll teach you. But we work mostly with Rust. Director of Sales Legal Ark AI · First Sales Leader · Job Description · REMOTE (US) and talent@legalark.ai About: Legal Ark AI serves as the workflow intelligence engine for estate planning practices. Our platform converts unstructured client data into high-confidence, verified facts prior to document generation, empowering legal teams to accelerate throughput, mitigate risk, and scale efficiently without a linear increase in headcount. The Role: As our first Director of Sales, you will own new business revenue end to end and build the sales engine from the ground up. You will personally close early deals, figure out the repeatable playbook, and then hire and lead the team that scales it. What You’ll Own: - New business ACV: land our core market, estate planning firms with 1 to 25 attorneys, and structure larger deals where they make sense. Large litigation firms are not our market. - The playbook: build outreach, qualification, demo, and close motions from scratch; find the repeatable recipe, then document and scale it. - The team: hire and lead SDRs and inside reps as revenue supports, so you move from doing everything to leading a team that does. - The stack: own the sales tooling (prospecting, CRM, sequencing, automation) and choose what makes the team most efficient. - Pricing and packaging: partner with the founders on pricing, tiers, security and white glove options, and value gating; be the eyes and ears on what customers will pay for. - Market signal: feed product and customer success with what you hear in the field, and represent Legal Ark AI at industry events. What Success Looks Like: You ramp quickly to a new business quota (target Year 1 new ACV of approximately $3,000,000, roughly 250 seats at current pricing), establish a repeatable motion, and lay the foundation for a team that carries the company toward its growth and exit goals. Who You Are: - A proven B2B SaaS closer who has built processes, not just worked someone else’s. - Experienced selling to SMB and moving deals upmarket; comfortable running the full cycle, from first touch to signature. - Energized by an early stage, commission only structure where your earnings track directly to the revenue you bring in. - A builder and leader who can hire, coach, and scale a small team. Someone who can sell a product that augments attorneys and their staff rather than replacing them, and who is comfortable leading with verification and confidence in the data rather than speed alone. - Legal tech, AI, professional services, or legal sales experience is a plus, not required. Compensation: Uncapped commission·Remote

Founding Engineer (Security / AI / Distributed Systems) — Stealth Project Next-Gen Secure DePIN x Multi-Agent SLM Trading Platform (Stealth / DM for Proposal) We are building a highly secure, decentralized AI-automated asset management and trading platform running on edge DePIN nodes. The platform utilizes 10 specialized SLMs (Small Language Models) for asynchronous execution. To ensure absolute privacy for institutional and whale traders, we implement a hard-layered defense system. This eliminates the front-running and data-selling risks common in current "free" AI wallets. Tech we use: Cardano/Midnight (ZKP), Estonia UXP, KSI Blockchain, eBPF kernel monitoring, TEE (Intel SGX/AMD SEV), Wasm sandboxing, and NATS/gRPC for low-latency messaging. We are looking for TWO top-tier founding engineers to team up for our upcoming high-value Grant Proposals (Web3 Foundations & Enterprise). One will focus on Security & Infrastructure, and the other on AI & Distributed Systems. Details: - Location: Remote (Global / Target: Eastern Europe, GMT+1 to GMT+3 preferred) - Compensation (Pre-Funding): $150 - $300 setup/consulting fee upfront for a 1-hour alignment call and the legal right to include your profile/CV in our upcoming Grant Proposals. - Compensation (Post-Grant): Once funding is secured, contracted at a premium rate of $100 - $150/hr (Equivalent to a $300k annual salary range). - Benefits / Upside: NO EQUITY DILUTION. Instead, we offer a Milestone-Triggered Revenue Share. Once the platform hits $10,000 in Monthly Gross Revenue, a total of 5% to 10% of Gross Revenue will be distributed directly to the 2 founding engineers every month for 12 consecutive months. - Role: Full-time / Milestone-contract.
