Role overview

Allneeda is hiring a Technical Lead / Engineering Manager to own the architecture, delivery and team behind the Allneeda app across mobile, web and backend. You will lead a cross-functional engineering team, set technical direction, and ship reliable features at scale while staying hands-on in code and design reviews.

Own the end-to-end architecture of the Allneeda app: iOS, Android, web, APIs,

databases and third-party integrations.

Allneeda App — Technical Lead / Engineering Manager

Design scalable, secure systems for real-time features such as order tracking,

payments, notifications and location services.

Set coding standards, lead design and code reviews, and drive down technical debt.

Make build-vs-buy decisions and evaluate new tools, frameworks and vendors.

Stay hands-on: write production code and prototype critical features when needed.

Team management

Hire, onboard, mentor and retain a high-performing engineering team.

Run 1:1s, set clear goals and conduct performance reviews and career plans.

Build a culture of ownership, quality, psychological safety and continuous learning.

Coordinate in-house engineers and any outsourced or contract developers.

Delivery and operations

Turn the product roadmap into technical plans, estimates and sprint goals with

Product and Design.

Run Agile/Scrum ceremonies and ensure on-time, high-quality releases to the App

Store and Google Play.

Own CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, monitoring, alerting and i ---------- response.

Track and improve app performance, crash rate, uptime and cloud costs.

Ensure data privacy, security and compliance (for example PCI-DSS for payments,

GDPR/CCPA for user data).

Collaboration

Partner with Product, Design, Operations, Marketing and Customer Support on

priorities and trade-offs.

Explain technical risks and options clearly to founders and non-technical stakeholders.

Report engineering progress, metrics and risks to leadership.

Required qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field, or

equivalent practical experience.

7+ years of professional software development, with at least 2–3 years leading

engineers as a tech lead or engineering manager.

Proven record of shipping and scaling consumer mobile apps on iOS and Android.

Allneeda App — Technical Lead / Engineering Manager

Strong experience in at least one mobile stack (React Native, Flutter, Swift or Kotlin)

and one backend stack (Node.js, Python, Java, Go or similar).

Solid knowledge of RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs, microservices, and SQL and NoSQL

databases.

Hands-on experience with a major cloud platform (AWS, Google Cloud orAzure),

Docker and CI/CD.

Experience integrating payment gateways (for example Stripe, PayPal), maps and

geolocation, and push notifications.

Good understanding of application security, authentication (OAuth 2.0, JWT) and data

protection.

Experience running Agile/Scrum teams with tools such as Jira, Git and Confluence.

Excellent communication, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
