Substitute English ALT - Tokyo Area

ECC Best Career is currently looking for substitute ALTs in the Tokyo area.
We expect the majority of available cover shifts to be in Katsushika ward.

Period: Immediate ~ March 2027

Weekdays: Monday ~ Saturday
*Highly flexible schedule based on your availability

Shift Time: 8:15 - 16:15 (Varies based on day and location)
*Unpaid lunch break included

Pay: 13,000 yen per shift

Transportation reimbursement: 1,000 yen flat rate (Negotiable for long-distance shifts)

Responsibilities
- Substitute as ALT at elementary and junior high schools
- Support Japanese Teachers of English (JTE) during lessons
- Communicate with JTE outside of class to meet their classroom needs
- Grading homework or tests
- Helping with speech preparation

Based on performance, substitute ALTs will be prioritized for future full-time ALT positions.
