None What You Will Do :
Execute the preparation of the CMS-64.10 quarterly sub-schedules, ensuring all administrative expenditures are reported accurately to CMS. Oversee the reconciliation and claiming process for Medicaid Administrative Claiming, applying appropriate cost allocation methodologies and federal matching rates (FMAP). Monitor and track expenditures against Advanced Planning Documents (APD) and ensure that APD project spending aligns with federal approval. Stay abreast of changes in federal claiming policies, to ensure agency reporting remains compliant and audit ready. Proactively identify opportunities to streamline data collection and enhance the accuracy of federal reports
What You Will Need:
- No sponsorship required for this position
- Bachelors degree from an accredited university
- Minimum of 5+ (FIVE) years of overall work experience
- Minimum of 5+ (FIVE) years experience with State or Local Government
- Experience working in Federal healthcare or State Medicaid finance
- Experience with healthcare reporting
- Capable of translating complex federal claiming requirements into financial summaries
What Would Be Nice to Have:
- Intermediate to Expert MS Excel skills are mandatory and must be comfortable in handling large datasets
- Understanding of Public Assistance Cost Allocation Plans (PACAP)
- Functional understanding of the CMS-64 reporting process, Medicaid Administrative Claiming, and an understanding of the APD/IAPD planning and approval process, with a familiarity of Medicaid data systems (MMIS and E&E)
- You should be a self‑starter with strong intellectual curiosity, able to investigate data anomalies and identify the operational factors behind financial results
- Ideal candidate would have worked for a State health and human services agency or with Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS)

The annual salary range for this position is $102,000.00-$170,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
