About the Team
In this role, you'd be joining the Finance team. This team is integral to supporting a fast-moving ecommerce environment. We're detail-oriented and process-driven, but also comfortable adapting as the business grows and changes. We work closely with teams across the company to make sure the numbers tell an accurate, timely story, and we take pride in being a reliable partner the rest of the business can count on.
What You’ll Do
To further this important mission, we are looking for a Staff Accountant. As a Staff Accountant on the Finance team you will support the day to day accounting function, prepare account reconciliations and journal entries for month end close, track all movements in inventory accounts, assist with actual vs. plan variance analysis, and assist with compliance reporting. This position will report to the Controller and will also work closely with the Senior Accountant. We are looking for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, solving interesting problems and yet still maintain a great work/life balance.
Who You Are

2+ years of general accounting and/or public accounting experience

Certified Public Accountant with in-depth knowledge of US GAAP preferred

Experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central or other accounting ERP systems

Self-starter with the ability to prioritize various responsibilities

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field

Experience working with inventory, preferred but not required

Worked in a startup environment, preferred but not required
