Senior Project Manager (Business Systems)

Due to continued growth, we are hiring a new Senior Project Manager to support one of our key local government partners to deliver across the Business Systems element of a transformation programme.
What will you be doing?
- Lead the delivery of key business system projects and enhancements, including Development Management Systems (DMS), GIS, Revenues & Benefits, HR & Payroll, and Digital Platform/CRM solutions.
- Manage projects throughout the full lifecycle, from initial scoping and business case development through to implementation and benefits realisation.
- Work closely with service areas, suppliers and stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver effective technology solutions.
- Develop and maintain project plans, managing resources, budgets, risks and dependencies to ensure successful delivery.
- Support system procurement, implementation, integration and upgrade activities in line with organisational requirements.
- Lead business change and process improvement initiatives, ensuring a smooth transition to new systems and ways of working.
- Monitor project progress, resolve issues and manage risks to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Promote best practice, innovation and continuous improvement across digital and business system projects.
- Prepare and present project documentation, reports and updates to a range of stakeholders and governance boards.
