JOB SUMMARY
A Key Account Planning Senior Manager focuses on identifying, developing and maintaining strategic relationships with the organization’s most valuable retailers by delivering tailored solutions, aligning long term goals and creating mutual value towards driving sustainable growth. By developing and achieving a strategic annual retail and net sales plan by channel for their accounts, the Senior Manager interprets business trends, identifies growth opportunities and optimizes inventory productivity to reduce liabilities.
The position requires a strong ability to communicate effectively while building and maintaining high-value relationships with retailers and internal departments across a multi-branded business and directly contributes to maximizing sales performance, delivering on gross and net sales objectives, maximizing profitability.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Stock + Sales Ownership
- You will own and manage stock and sales planning to achieve gross shipment and retail sales targets.
- You will develop and manage gross shipment forecasts, forecast returns and DIFs, manage discontinuations to reduce RTV liabilities, and ensure accuracy, maintaining optimal inventory levels across all channels.
- You will have consistent Communication with Leaders on retail and net status.
- You will build and revise monthly retail House Product Line in accordance with monthly projections, collaborating with cross-functional partners to ensure alignment.
- You will ensure orders are received from retail partners in a timely manner and troubleshoot errors.
Account Management
- You will develop and cultivate strong relationships with Retailers, understanding their needs and goals.
- You will strategize with Buying Team on seasonal planning.
- You will manage & maintain COOP, Strategic Planning and Spend, negotiating COOP placements, exposures, and pricing with the Retailers.
- You will manage COM programming, offers, GWP’s, and exposures.
- You will manage & negotiate Case line and Planogram updates as specially tailored to each retailer (Differs by Retailer/Brand).
Brand Strategy
- You will manage Company & Retailer objectives while maintaining the specific brand’s values.
- You will collaborate with Brand Marketing teams on seasonal goals and focuses.
- You will identify opportunities to enhance brand presence and performance.
Reporting
- You will use Cognos and Power BI to pull weekly sales data and analyze sell-thru results to inform weekly commentary
- You will provide weekly sales recap to key internal stakeholders and leadership, summarizing achievements, promotions, marketing act
