JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior Director, Consultant Relations is responsible for developing, executing, and evolving WellRight 's strategic plan to expand and increase business from the broker and benefit consultant ("Consultant") community. In close partnership with WellRight 's Sales and Marketing teams, they organize, manage, and lead business development activities focused on Consultants. They conduct direct outreach to that community to educate and promote WellRight 's value proposition and competitive differentiation, and to build the WellRight brand to drive more opportunities offered to WellRight and greater conversion of those opportunities.

The Senior Director, Consultant Relations leads, promotes, strategizes, and implements. They have a deep understanding of Consultants and their clients, and stay current on evolving benefit and wellbeing trends through multiple sources and contacts. They translate complex ideas into relevant, actionable market insights, connecting patterns across different data sets and settings to inform winning communication, engagement, and growth strategies. They bring an existing network of Consultant contacts who would welcome a call day one. They see projects through to completion, use metrics to measure success, and evolve strategies over time based on results.

This individual communicates clearly and organizes effectively across multiple concurrent priorities. They read stakeholder needs accurately and adapt their approach accordingly, setting strategic priorities and scope and leading execution across those priorities. They work independently, stay organized, and collaborate well with others. They write and speak clearly, act with high integrity, and bring resourcefulness to solving problems under ambiguity.

The ideal candidate is a proven relationship-builder who develops trust with stakeholders across organizations to get things done. They are credible and persuasive when presenting to senior executives and clients, and comfortable leading high-stakes meetings and driving decisions in the room. They are proactive, versatile, and intellectually curious, with strong problem-solving skills and a focus on the highest-impact priorities. They combine strong execution, strategic insight, and organizational savvy with tactical experience to drive action and results.

Responsibilities:

Serve as WellRight ’s expert resource for trends in benefit consulting and wellbeing:

- Track current Consultant thinking on wellbeing and regularly communicate relevant information to WellRight sales, marketing, customer success, and product teams.

- Develop a clear understanding of Consultants’ needs and challenges and how WellRight can provide solutions through existing strategies, new strategies or custom solutions.

- Solicit product and market feedback from Consultants and communicate this feedback to sales, marketing, customer success, and product teams (e.g., feature requests, market trends, competition intelligence, new opportunities).
