Sales & Purchasing Specialist – International Recycling Company
Legend Metal is looking for a motivated Sales & Purchasing / Supplier Relations Specialist to join our international team.
We work in the recycling industry and purchase a variety of recyclable materials, including automotive catalytic converters, batteries, hybrid vehicle batteries, electronic scrap, DPFs, O₂ sensors, and related products.
In this role, you will communicate with suppliers and business partners, help purchase materials, negotiate prices, coordinate deliveries, and build long-term business relationships.
Main Responsibilities
• Communicate with suppliers, clients, and business partners
• Find new suppliers and purchasing opportunities
• Discuss prices, purchasing conditions, and delivery schedules
• Visit suppliers and partners by car in your assigned area
• Coordinate deliveries and logistics with suppliers and our headquarters
• Prepare purchase orders and simple reports
• Build long-term relationships with business partners
• Learn about different recycling materials and support the company’s purchasing activities
What We Are Looking For
• Good communication skills
• Interest in sales, purchasing, negotiation, or business development
• A responsible and independent person who can manage their work well
• Valid driver’s license in Japan
• Japanese language ability sufficient for business communication
• Chinese language ability is welcome
• Applicants must currently live in Japan and have a valid residence status that permits work

Working Hours and Salary
• Full-time position
• Standard working hours: 40 hours per week
• Salary: ¥250,000–¥300,000 per month
• The salary includes a fixed overtime allowance for up to 30 hours per month
