Job Overview

The Promo & Events Assistant supports the setup, execution, and optimization of promotional events and campaigns on Macys.com. This role partners closely with Site Merchandising, Marketing, Creative, Affiliate, and offshore teams to ensure promotional events, offers, content, and customer experiences are accurately configured, tested, and launched on time.

The Promo & Events Assistant supports end-to-end site execution for promotional events by coordinating event setup, validating offers, managing CRM and promotional link integration, reviewing business and customer insights, and facilitating cross-functional collaboration. This role helps ensure promotional assets, offers, content, and site experiences are implemented accurately and delivered according to plan while proactively communicating updates, execution requirements, risks, and recommendations to Site Merchandising, Marketing, Creative, Affiliate, and offshore partners.
What You Will Do

- Support the end-to-end setup and execution of promotional events and campaigns on Macys.com, ensuring offers, links, assets, and content are accurate and launch-ready.

- Coordinate CRM linking requirements for promotional events, ensuring customer-facing experiences align with event objectives and launch timelines.

- Partner with Site Merchandising, Marketing, Creative, Affiliate, and offshore teams to gather requirements, validate details, and support timely event execution.

- Validate promotional components prior to launch, including offers, promo codes, CRM links, site assets, content sequencing, and customer journeys.

- Conduct testing and quality assurance to ensure promotional messaging, links, functionality, and customer experiences perform as intended.

- Review business performance and customer insights to identify opportunities for optimization and recommend enhancements to event execution.

- Communicate event status, launch readiness, changes, risks, and key updates to cross-functional stakeholders.

- Track project milestones, follow-ups, and outstanding action items to ensure events remain on schedule and execution issues are resolved promptly.

- Provide direction and support to offshore partners by communicating priorities, sharing best practices, and reinforcing execution standards.

- Build and maintain strong cross-functional partnerships with Site Merchandising, Marketing, Creative Production, Affiliate, and offshore teams to deliver seamless promotional events and customer experiences.

- Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities.
