Project Manager

Job Summary

SpartanX is seeking an experienced, highly organized Solar Project Manager to oversee residential solar projects from contract execution through installation, inspection, utility interconnection, and Permission to Operate (PTO). This position is responsible for tracking project milestones, coordinating across multiple departments, identifying delays, and ensuring projects move efficiently toward completion. We're looking for someone with residential solar project management experience who understands the full project lifecycle, communicates effectively, and takes ownership of resolving issues before they become costly delays.

What You'll Do

Project Management & Coordination

- Manage residential solar projects from contract execution through PTO.

- Track project milestones, deadlines, and outstanding requirements.

- Coordinate with Site Survey, Design, Engineering, Permitting, Installation, Inspections, and Interconnection teams.

- Identify project delays and proactively coordinate resolutions.

- Monitor project readiness and ensure requirements are completed before advancing to the next stage.

- Manage multiple active projects across different U.S. markets.

Project Tracking & Issue Resolution

- Maintain accurate project records, documentation, and status updates.

- Identify missing information, incomplete tasks, and operational bottlenecks.

- Follow up with internal departments to ensure timely completion of outstanding items.

- Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate leadership.

- Monitor aging projects and prioritize actions needed to move them forward.

- Support continuous improvement of project management workflows.

Communication & Reporting

- Provide timely project updates to internal teams and stakeholders.

- Coordinate with homeowners when necessary regarding project progress and outstanding requirements.

- Communicate scheduling concerns, delays, and changes affecting project timelines.

- Maintain accurate CRM and project management records.

- Prepare project status reports and identify trends affecting completion timelines.

What We're Looking For

- Previous residential solar project management experience required.

- Strong understanding of the residential solar project lifecycle, from contract through PTO.

- Experience coordinating multiple departments and managing high-volume project pipelines.

- Knowledge of permitting, inspections, utility interconnection, and installation workflows.

- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.

- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet operational deadlines.

- Experience using CRM systems and project management software.

- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.

- Availability during standard U.S. business hours.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience managing residential solar projects across multiple U.S. states.

- Familiarity with AHJ requirements, utility approvals, and PTO processes.

- Experience identifying and resolving stalled or aging projects.

Schedule

Full-Time | Remote – Offshore

Monday–Friday, aligned with standard U.S. business hours, with occasional additional availability based on operational needs.
