The Procedure Analyst is able to analyze complex information and develop internal end-user documentation for the Company and its subsidiaries. This experienced level position develops documentation that involves multi-faceted issues, business decisions, implementations, and project management. As directed by senior team members, the analyst may be involved in projects that cross departmental lines and have company-wide significance.
What you will do:

- Create, format, edit, proofread, revise and maintain corporate and departmental policies, technical procedures and documents for various lines of business.

- Recommend solutions to procedure-related process and workflow issues. Advise on procedures taxonomy, style guide, and content standards.

- Assess the priority of a procedure or project request assigned, identify all areas impacted, and establish appropriate communication links.

- Ensure documentation is clear and consistent and meets the needs of the end users.

- Proactively analyze, interpret, and synthesize state and federal mandates, contract changes, and corporate communications for impact to procedures.

- Initiate and facilitate assigned work groups to obtain process flows, business decisions and resolution of issues that hinder procedure development.

- Proactively perform ad hoc analyses for various end users.

- Participate in project-related activities to assure that project and external department goals are met and oversee related project accountabilities and report procedure and project status.

- Perform system testing to validate procedures.

What you will bring:

- High School Diploma or GED. (Required)

- 2 years of Premera experience, with at least 1 year of developing organizational procedures OR three (3) years of experience developing organizational procedures. (Required)

- Bachelor’s degree in related areas of study or a certificate/relevant course work in Business Writing, Technical Writing or Journalism. (Preferred)

- Operations experience. (Preferred)

- Prior health care experience. (Preferred)

- Technical writing, Web/Internet/HTML experience. (Preferred)

- Business re-design or continuous improvement experience. (Preferred)
