Power BI Developer- Remote (Egyptians Preferred)

The Power BI Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI, transforming business data into dashboards, reports, and analytical insights that support data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:

- Gather and analyze reporting requirements and develop BI solutions.

- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.

- Build efficient data models and measures using DAX.

- Extract, transform, and integrate data using Power Query/M.

- Connect Power BI to databases, files, APIs, cloud platforms, and enterprise data sources.

- Optimize reports, datasets, and semantic models for performance and scalability.

- Manage Power BI Service workspaces, reports, refresh schedules, and security.

- Configure Row-Level Security (RLS), gateways, and access permissions.

- Troubleshoot reporting and performance issues.

- Support testing, deployment, and continuous enhancement of BI solutions.

Requirements

- Strong experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.

- Advanced knowledge of DAX, Power Query/M, and data modelling.

- Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases.

- Experience integrating and transforming data from multiple sources.

- Understanding of dimensional modelling, data warehousing, and BI concepts.

- Experience in dashboard design, data visualization, and reporting best practices.

- Understanding of Power BI security, RLS, gateways, refresh mechanisms, and workspace management.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
