About Kickstart Accounting, Inc.

Kickstart Accounting, Inc. is a growing bookkeeping and accounting firm helping business owners get clarity and confidence in their finances. Our team spans finance, HR, marketing, sales, and admin, all working together to support our clients and each other.

About the Role

We're creating a new Operations Manager position to strengthen the administrative, financial, and back-end systems that keep Kickstart Accounting Group running. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building organized processes, keeping projects on track, and making sure the behind-the-scenes side of the business runs smoothly.

You'll work closely with the VP of Operations to manage internal administrative functions, support financial operations, oversee key projects from start to finish, and strengthen the back-end systems and workflows the business depends on. This is a great fit for someone who is detail-oriented, comfortable with financial and administrative processes, and energized by building order out of complexity.

What You'll Do

- Manage administrative operations, including internal recordkeeping, scheduling, vendor coordination, and office/systems management

- Support financial operations tasks such as invoicing, expense tracking, budget monitoring, and reporting

- Own project management for operational initiatives, including timelines, task tracking, and cross-team coordination

- Build and maintain back-end systems and tools that support day-to-day business functions

- Develop and document standard operating procedures for administrative and back-end processes

- Identify inefficiencies in current administrative or financial workflows and implement improvements

- Manage software, platforms, and internal tools used to run daily operations

- Track progress on operational projects and keep initiatives moving forward

- Flag risks, bottlenecks, or compliance gaps before they become larger problems

What We're Looking For

- 3+ years of experience in an operations, administrative, or project management role, ideally with financial operations exposure

- Strong organizational skills and comfort managing multiple priorities and deadlines at once

- Experience with basic financial processes (invoicing, expense tracking, budgeting, or reporting)

- A process-oriented mindset, with experience building or improving administrative workflows

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment

- Comfort with project management tools, spreadsheets, and back-end business systems

- Bonus: experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or professional services

What Success Looks Like

Within the first 90 days, you'll have a clear picture of our administrative, financial, and back-end operations, including where the friction points are, and a prioritized plan for addressing them. Within six months, you'll be independently managing key projects, financial operations tasks, and back-end systems, and you'll have implemented at least one meaningful process improvement.

Why Join Kickstart Accounting, Inc.

- Fully remote team

- Opportunity to shape a brand-new role and make it your own

- Work directly with leadership on high-impact projects

- A collaborative team culture across departments

Salary: $60,000 – $80,000 / year
