Operations Analyst
Symetra has an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Operations Analyst !
About the Role
The Operations Analyst role is responsible for Operations functions involving various products. Maintains a high degree of initiative and advanced knowledge of our products, operations, and the Symetra organization. Works independently on day-to-day activities, which include procedure document management and key performance metrics. Responsible for complex assignments and projects, and demonstrates advanced ability to lead those assignments and projects to successful completion. Maintains a close alignment with various internal partners, which may include business analysts, department management, law and compliance, and IT.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Involvement in division-based projects
- System maintenance and testing as needed
- Audits and Quality Reviews
- Reporting
- Focus Area - Partner Sales Agreements, partner onboarding, agent advisories, contract amendments, research, and redlining contractual agreements
- Partner Hierarchy changes
- Agency Appointment Validation for states (Renewals) & Mass agent appointments
- Collaborate with Law and Compliance to construct contractual agreements, raise producer exception requests and/or issues, and regulatory changes

Compensation
Hourly Range: $27.10 – $54.64 plus eligibility for annual bonus programs
Who you are
- College degree or equivalent work experience
- 2-6 years of cumulative, relevant experience
- Experienced professional with considerable and extensive skills knowledge for the role
- Timely responses and a sense of urgency
- Possesses analytic, technical, and problem-solving skills and abilities
- Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services
- Able to work independently
- High school diploma required
