Middle Procurement Specialist (6 month contract)

This is 6-month contract with the possibility of extension, subject to headcount availability and business need.

WHY THIS ROLE EXISTS:

This role exists to maximize value and minimize friction across our spend categories. You’ll help us stretch our budgets and accelerate operations by taking end-to-end ownership of the procurement pipeline—from requirements to signed contracts and renewals.

WHAT YOU’LL DRIVE:

Commercial Strategy & Outcomes

- Drive cost-saving and cost-avoidance initiatives through aggressive vendor negotiations, volume consolidation, and license optimization.

- Continuously review active agreements to flag commercial risks, redundant tools, and renegotiation opportunities.

- Track and report key spend metrics, realized savings, vendor performance, and contract renewal pipelines.

Discovery & Selection

- Translate internal stakeholder requests into clear procurement requirements and specs.

- Conduct targeted market research to identify alternative vendors and benchmark market pricing.

- Lead clear RFQ/RFP processes and build data-backed comparative analyses (total cost of ownership) to guide buy decisions.

Execution & Delivery

- Own the complete purchase lifecycle: vendor sourcing, commercial negotiations, contract routing, and execution.

- Partner closely with Legal, Finance, and InfoSec to resolve contract bottlenecks and maintain policy compliance.

- Manage tracking, subscription renewals, non-renewals, and administrative records across 1C ERP and Jira.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

- Act as a trusted commercial advisor to internal teams, guiding them through procurement limits and approval workflows.

- Build pragmatic vendor relationships, resolve operational/billing disputes, and escalate performance failures early.

WHAT MAKES YOU A GR8 FIT:

Must-have:

- 4+ years of hands-on procurement experience managing indirect categories end-to-end.

- Proven track record of independently negotiating favorable commercial terms, pricing, and SLA structures.

- Experience running structured RFQ/RFP processes and conducting total-cost-of-ownership evaluations.

- Strong working knowledge of 1C ERP systems, Jira, and advanced Google Sheets (formulas, data modeling).

- Practical understanding of commercial contract terms and cross-functional sign-off workflows (Legal/InfoSec/Finance).

- High agency and ability to prioritize dozens of active requests and tight deadline renewals simultaneously.

- Upper-Intermediate English and fluent Ukrainian or Russian.

Nice-to-have:

- Degree in Business, Economics, or Supply Chain.

- Experience negotiating SaaS, IT, or digital service contracts.

- Background in optimizing procurement processes or automating manual purchasing steps.
