Middle Manual QA Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Middle Manual QA Engineer to join a high-impact banking technology project. The client is a prominent financial enterprise expanding and enhancing its online client banking platforms and administrative management portals. You will be responsible for end-to-end functional and non-functional manual testing across API and UI layers.
Responsibilities

- Perform functional and non-functional manual testing of Client-Banking web systems and Admin Portals.

- Analyze banking product specifications and business requirements

- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on defects and manage bug prioritization

- Create, maintain, and review test documentation (checklists, test cases, test suites)

- Execute modular, integration, system, and API testing across various SDLC stages

- Collaborate actively with software developers, business analysts, and product owners

- Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming)

Requirements

- 3+ years of commercial experience in Web and backend manual testing.

- Solid understanding of QA theory, methodologies, and SDLC models (Agile, Scrum, Kanban)

- Proficiency with Postman for REST API testing (authentication, CRUD operations, response/DB validation)

- Practical experience working with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL)

- Strong understanding of microservice architecture

- Hands-on experience with proxy debugging tools (Charles, Fiddler)

- Experience using and managing Test Management Systems (TMS) such as Qase or TestRail .
