Humana Healthy Horizons is seeking a Medicaid Provider Materials Lead who is responsible the execution of core provider educational materials for Humana ’s Medicaid segment to drive best in class provider experience. This role will also create and update content for provider manuals, orientation, and annual training materials for existing state contracts.
Reporting to the Director, Contract Tools, Education, Processes you will also lead in the creation of new training as needed and support Medicaid provider learning needs through collaboration across business segments for course content input. You will possess strong content creation skills to create provider materials, interpersonal skills to work across business segments, and must be highly organized. Job Description
The Medicaid Provider Materials Lead key responsibilities include:
oResponsible for creating and updating provider educational materials during new contract implementations.
oDrafting provider content from contract, policies, and processes across various business areas.
oMaintains up to date documentation based off state, market, or operational business changes.
oCollaborates across departments to executes provider educational resources to meet state contracted requirements to drive best in class provider experience.
oLeads annual reviews of provider manuals, orientation and annual training materials, including materials specific to behavioral health and long-term care providers to ensure updates meet required timelines.
oSubmits required documents to state agencies for review and approval.
oRegularly meet with Humana Healthy Horizons Medicaid markets to understand their provider training and education needs to ensure aligned segment strategy and approach.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of experience drafting provider content creation for resources, educational material, or trainings.
- 3+ years of project management experience.
- 3+ years of Medicaid or compliance experience.
- Understanding of learning design principles provider training and educational materials.
- Demonstrated experience building templates, standard documentation, policy, and procedures.
- Must work hours within the Eastern Standard Time Zone. – work hours
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Medicaid policies and/or Medicaid health plan operations, such as provider relations, claims submission and payment, utilization management processes, behavioral health processes, and dispute resolution.
