Salary: $55,000 - $60,000 annually

Reports to: Chief Marketing Officer

Department: Marketing

Location: Points of Light is a remote-first organization. Any U.S. location in the Eastern or Central time zone in a market with a major airport. Washington, DC preferred.

Position Summary :

The Manager, Digital Marketing is responsible for Points of Light ’s integrated digital marketing and demand generation engine. This role is the organization’s central hub for digital campaign execution and performance improvement. The role exists to turn organizational priorities into measurable digital outcomes by designing and running repeatable campaign processes across email and marketing automation, search, and website conversion paths, and assists as needed with paid media.

This position is accountable for building the structure behind performance—audience targeting, channel strategy, testing plans, landing page experience, and reporting—so that campaigns improve over time and stakeholders can make decisions based on clear results.

Position Functions and Responsibilities Include:

Integrated campaigns and digital communications
- Integrate organizational priorities and marketing campaigns into digital channel plans with clear goals, audiences, messages, channel mix, timelines, and measurement.

- Own the technical end-to-end path from “someone sees it” to “someone takes action,” ensuring that messaging, creative inputs, landing page experience, and follow-up communications are optimized This includes ownership of building emails in Salesforce and regular editing and page creation in WordPress.

- Build repeatable approaches for lead generation and thought leadership events, such as webinars, downloadable resources, and events—so execution is consistent and continuous improvement is achieved.

- Ensure campaign work reflects audience behavior and insights, not assumptions, and that performance influences improvements.

Demand generation, paid media, and optimization
- Collaborate with external agencies on paid media strategy and day-to-day management as needed across platforms (LinkedIn, Meta, Google), including targeting, budgeting, pacing, and iterative improvement.

- Establish and maintain a structured testing approach (audiences, creative, landing pages, channel mix), documenting what worked, what didn’t, and what changes next.

- Ensure audiences have the best user experience and get the information they need regardless of where they are in the funnel.

- Make budget recommendations and reallocate based on performance and organizational priorities.

Measurement, reporting, and cross-functional alignment
- Define campaign success metrics up front and maintain a consistent reporting cadence that supports decision-making.

- Deliver monthly performance updates for email, website, and paid media.

- Coordinate with operations and database stakeholders as needed to support lead capture, follow-up readiness, and reporting integrity.
