The role

We are looking to recruit an experienced educator to join the Raspberry Pi Foundation . The role will contribute to the development of high-quality educational materials and professional learning experiences across our programmes for young people aged 8 to 18.

You will have a background in computing science education or a closely related field, with a track record of having created curricula, resources, learning experiences, or teacher professional development activities.

Artificial intelligence and machine learning applications are already changing many aspects of our lives. Young people who understand how AI works will be better equipped to engage with the world around them, make informed decisions about using and creating AI applications, and choose what role AI will play in their futures.

A central part of this role will be supporting and advancing Experience AI, an educational program that offers cutting-edge resources on artificial intelligence and machine learning for teachers and students aged 8–18. Developed in collaboration by the Raspberry Pi Foundation and Google DeepMind, Experience AI supports teachers in this exciting and fast-moving area of AI and gets young people passionate about the subject. You will play a key role in adapting, delivering, and scaling this program in the US, while contributing to its ongoing development.

This is a remote role with a national scope. Our US team is primarily based in Metro Atlanta, Georgia, and the Twin Cities, Minnesota, so we have a preference for candidates based in or near those areas. We are also open to candidates elsewhere in the Eastern or Central time zones. The role will involve periodic travel to meet with colleagues and partners across the country.
