Location: Cambridge, UK (or remote, UK, with regular travel to Cambridge)
Salary: £42,000 – £47,000 p.a. Full-time equivalent, dependent on experience
Basis: Permanent; full-time, part-time or flexible

The role
With the number of educators responsible for delivering discrete and integrated computer science increasing globally, it is more important than ever that new and experienced educators are supported to deliver a high-quality computing education to their learners. We are therefore looking to recruit an experienced educator to develop a range of content and learning experiences to support our global network of educators.
As Learning Manager, you will be responsible for developing both online and in-person professional development opportunities to support both formal and non-formal educators in our core markets (Kenya, India, South Africa, the UK & Ireland and the USA ) and beyond. The ideal candidate will have a qualification in computer science or a related subject, with a teaching qualification or significant teaching experience. A strong background in using relevant andragogical principles to develop engaging, relevant learning experiences, and experience of supporting educators would also be an advantage.
This is an exciting time for the Foundation, as we develop our Training Hub – a new purpose-built, self-hosted platform for our online courses. You will work within a product team along with other internal stakeholders to create a high-quality product for both classroom teachers as well as mentors supporting young people in our network of Code Clubs.

Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver learning experiences, content, resources, and training for the Foundation's educational programmes and products.
- Ensure that learning experiences, content, resources, and training reflect evidence-based pedagogy and andragogy, and the Foundation's agreed approaches to teaching and learning.
- Contribute to the development of the Foundation's teaching and learning strategy and approaches. Actively engage with research and best practice, and identify areas for improvement and innovation.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation, and with external subject matter experts and partners.
- Engage positively with the Foundation's systems for quality assurance, including in relation to agreed policies for inclusion and accessibility.
- Proactively utilise user feedback and data to drive improvement.
- Represent the Raspberry Pi Foundation to external audiences and stakeholders as required.
- Contribute to the Foundation's thought leadership through writing articles and blogs, public speaking, and contributing to research and evaluation.
Experience and personal attributes

- A thorough understanding of computing, with a degree or equivalent qualification or experience in computer science or a related subject.
- A teaching qualification, or significant experience of leading adult learning or a related subject.
- Experience in designing and delivering asynchronous online and synchronous in-person professional development to educators, preferably globally.
- Experience in supporting computing educators, and an understanding of computing pedagogy and andragogy within formal education and informal learning.
