As an intern at Gamebreaking Studios , you’ll get the opportunity to grow your game development skills in a passionate and highly collaborative environment. We’re looking for someone passionate about games to use their skills to make an impact on our Internal Games Team, which is currently working on Dungeon Rampage! This listing covers all non-engineering development disciplines. In this internship, you’ll be primarily working on our Dungeon Rampage game or other potential internal game projects. Dungeon Rampage is a revival of a popular hack and slash flash game, engineered for Steam with some new improvements. On the Dungeon Rampage team you could be helping create new features, polish the play experience, fix important bugs, or creating other kinds of new content. Your contributions will directly contribute to the happiness of our players! Our Internal Games Team is focused on working on games that we as Gamebreaking own and are in charge of creating either independently or in partnership with a publisher.

At Gamebreaking, helping the growth of our interns is a top priority. We have a strong history of our interns being successful in the games industry both inside and outside of Gamebreaking. You will be paired with a highly experienced mentor to help guide your development throughout the program, as well as managerial resources to get you all the support you may need. We want to bring people onto our team who are hungry to grow and excited to make a big impact.

Duration and Employment Status

We are a fully remote working environment seeking current students, recent graduates ~1 year out of universities, or those with similar experience to join our company. This is an entry-level position with no prior work experience required, though candidates with prior work experience will be considered.

This position is a paid internship between 3 and 6 months duration, with the possibility of a direct hire to full-time at its conclusion. We seek a candidate able to work a minimum of 30 hours per week, with a preference for 40 hours. Candidates must be able to start work no later than January 12th, 2027. Otherwise, the duration and timeframe of this internship are flexible depending on the candidate and their situation.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

- A passion for games and entertainment that shows. Whether you love video games, board games, cosplay, or freeze tag — we want to know! If it doesn’t shine through your resume (e.g. work, academic, or community experience), please submit a cover letter.

- 2+ years of experience in your discipline (academic or demonstrable personal projects are acceptable)

- Enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a university program or an equivalent program focused on Game Development or equivalent.

- Self-motivated and willing to work in multiple areas of game development

- Strong collaboration and communication skills
