IT Systems Lead – Cloud & DevOps (CET ±2h | Remote)

We are looking for an experienced IT Systems Lead – Cloud & DevOps to take end-to-end ownership of Cyntegrity ’s IT landscape and become the central point of expertise for our internal IT systems, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps operations.

This is a hands-on role with broad technical responsibility across Microsoft Azure, AWS, DevOps and CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, IT security, Microsoft 365, access management, and day-to-day IT operations. You will have the autonomy to shape how our IT environment evolves, introducing scalable processes, automation, and best practices as our organization develops.

Working closely with our Development team and company leadership, you will ensure that our IT environment remains secure, reliable, scalable, and compliant, while providing effective technical support to our fully remote, international team.
Key Responsibilities

As an IT Systems Lead at Cyntegrity , you will:

- Own IT Systems & Infrastructure: Take responsibility for the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our IT systems and cloud infrastructure, primarily Microsoft Azure and partially AWS.

- Drive DevOps & Automation: Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to improve development and operational processes.

- Strengthen IT Security & Reliability: Continuously improve the security, performance, scalability, and resilience of our IT environment, including access controls, monitoring, backup, and infrastructure security.

- Manage IT Operations & Support: Own day-to-day IT operations, including user and access management, Microsoft 365 administration, onboarding/offboarding, IT requests, and technical troubleshooting.

- Ensure Compliance: Maintain IT systems in line with relevant data protection, security, and regulatory requirements, including GDPR.

- Shape IT Practices: Identify opportunities to improve and automate IT processes, documentation, standards, and ways of working.

- Collaborate Across the Business: Work closely with the CEO, Development, and other teams to align IT systems and priorities with business needs.

Essential Criteria:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience:

- 5-7 years of proven experience inDevOps practices.

- Hands-on experience withMicrosoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS).

- Strong experience in managingIT ticket requestsand providing end-user support.

Skills:

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

Knowledge:

- Deep understanding ofcloud infrastructure, including Azure and/or AWS ecosystems, and modern DevOps tooling.

- Familiarity withIT service management (ITSM)and ticketing systems.

- Understanding ofdata protection regulations(e.g., GDPR, Data Protection Act).

- Certifications:Relevant certifications inAzure(e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert) andDevOps(e.g., Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) are a plus.
