Job Purpose

As an English to Hungarian Translator at RWS Group , your primary objective is to facilitate effective communication by providing accurate and culturally relevant translations from English into Hungarian. Your role is essential to our commitment to delivering high-quality language solutions to our clients.
Job Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Translation Expertise: Precisely translate a wide array of content, including documents, texts, and materials, while preserving the original meaning, style, and tone.
- Bilingual Proficiency: Exhibit advanced proficiency in both Hungarian and English, with a deep understanding of linguistic nuances and cultural sensitivities in both languages.
- Contextual Adaptation: Customize translations to suit the specific industry or subject matter, maintaining precision and fluency in specialized domains.

- Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough self-reviews and quality checks to ensure translations meet the highest standards, aligning with or exceeding client expectations.
- Research and Terminology: Keep abreast of industry-specific terminology and jargon, conducting research as needed to provide accurate translations.
- Effective Collaboration: Collaborate with project managers, editors, and subject matter experts to clarify context, resolve queries, and ensure the final translation meets client requirements.
- Cultural Sensitivity: Apply cultural awareness to ensure translations are contextually appropriate and culturally sensitive for the target audience.

Skills & Experience
- Proficiency in Hungarian and English, both written and spoken.
- Proven experience in translation, particularly from English to Hungarian.
- A deep understanding of industry-specific terminology and subject matter expertise is highly advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and dedication to maintaining quality standards.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Cultural awareness and sensitivity to linguistic and cultural differences.
