We’re Looking For A(n): HR Generalist

Location: Remote

What You’ll Be Doing: Serves as a key member of the HR team, working closely with HR Business Partners, the Director of HR, management, and employees to support company goals and objectives. This role carries out responsibilities across a range of functional areas, including benefits administration, leave of absence management, employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment and employment, reporting, and updating the HRIS system. This position also participates in projects supporting organizational goals and department initiatives.

- Serves as the primary point of contact for routine employee and manager HR inquiries, independently resolving requests within established guidelines and escalating complex or higher-risk matters as appropriate

- Identifies recurring employee and manager questions, process gaps, and opportunities for improvement, and recommends or implements solutions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of HR processes

- Administers HR programs and procedures and assists in the development and implementation of company policies and processes to support consistent and compliant HR practices

- Maintains the company people intranet to ensure employees have access to accurate and up-to-date resources

- Oversees & administers the employee product purchase program and other recognition programs to support employee engagement and satisfaction

- Serves as a resource to employees throughout the employee lifecycle, supporting key HR processes from onboarding through offboarding to provide a consistent and positive employee experience

- Administers & Supports FMLA, leave of absence, and accommodation processes, coordinating documentation, employee communication, and required follow-up within established guidelines and escalating complex or higher-risk matters as appropriate

- Administers workers' compensation claims, coordinating required documentation and follow-up and escalating complex matters as appropriate

- Addresses routine employee relations issues and supports basic employee investigations within established guidelines, escalating complex, sensitive, or higher-risk matters as appropriate

- Facilitates verbal, written, and termination disciplinary documentation and partners with management on employee separations, coordinating required HR offboarding activities to ensure consistent, compliant, and well-documented outcomes

- Conducts employee exit interviews and compiles feedback and trends to support retention analysis and identify opportunities for improvement

- Maintains accurate employee data, electronic files, and HR records, including processing employee changes and conducting regular audits of employee records and I-9 documentation, to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance

- Compiles and maintains routine HR reports and workforce data, ensuring accurate and timely information is available to support HR analysis and decision-making

- Stays current with applicable employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices and applies this knowledge to assigned responsibilities to support compliant HR practices and minimize organizational risk

- Supports administration of the employee survey process, including communications, reporting, and compilation of results, to support analysis and action planning

- Assists with the recruitment process as needed to support timely and effective hiring

- Coordinates company engagement committees, employee events, and activities to support employee engagement and workplace culture

- Coordinates the HR onboarding process, including facilitating New Employee Orientation and ensuring required documentation, communications, and HR onboarding activities are completed accurately and timely, to support a smooth and inform
