Position: Audiobook QA Expert — German
Type: Contract
Compensation: $15–$20/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 20 hours/week
Role Responsibilities

- Evaluate AI-narrated audiobooks in German for naturalness, accuracy, and enjoyment.

- Identify and log errors in synthesized speech, including mispronunciations and audio glitches.

- Categorize issues and mark their exact occurrence using our review tools.

- Report on listener satisfaction and pinpoint where narration feels natural or disruptive.

- Maintain attention to detail across extensive audio reviews.

Qualifications

Must-Have

- Native or near-native fluency in German (Germany).

- Experience as an active audiobook listener with strong opinions on quality.

- Working English proficiency for clear reporting and team communication.

- Experience in annotation, labeling, transcription, or proofreading.

- Ability to maintain accuracy over long listening sessions.

- Availability for 20 hours/week on a part-time basis.

Preferred

- Experience with AI training-data, model-evaluation, or audio/QA annotation.

- Background in language, editing, voice, or audio production.
