GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) Specialist (WFH)

About the job:
We're looking for a GEO Specialist to own how MTP shows up when people and AI engines search for language services. This is a hands-on role blending Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and classic SEO with the content writing that supports it. You'll work across a genuinely varied set of buyers, from research agencies and pharma insights teams to filmmakers and NGOs, so curiosity about different audiences matters as much as technical skill. You'll have someone to guide and supervise your work, so it's a strong fit for someone early in their career who wants to grow fast.

Key Responsibilties:

1. Run keyword and query research across MTP's different buyer segments and build it into a working content and optimization plan

2. Optimize existing pages and briefs for both traditional search and AI-generated answers (ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, etc.)

3. Write and edit SEO/GEO content landing pages, service pages, blog posts tuned to each buyer type's language and pain points

4. Handle on-page and basic technical SEO: metadata, structure, internal linking, page health

5. Track visibility, traffic, and enquiries in Google Search Console and GA4, and report on what's working

6. Monitor how MTP and competitors appear in AI search results and adjust accordingly

Other Requirements:
- 1. Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in GEO and/or SEO
- 2. Working knowledge of Google Search Console, GA4, and SEMrush (these are must-haves)
- 3. Solid, clear writing in English — able to adapt tone across very different audiences
- 4. Comfort with on-page optimization and the basics of technical SEO
- 5. A self-starter who can work independently in a remote setup while taking direction from a supervisor
- 6. Ability to leverage AI tools effectively in research, writing, and optimization workflows
- 7. Exposure to B2B, services, or research/language industries
