Financial Controller for B2C Company (US-Based, Remote)

Our mission is to provide great jobs to talented people, no matter where they are located. </p><p>We’re looking for a hands-on Financial Controller who can own the entire finance function, from accurate bookkeeping and monthly reporting to financial analysis and strategic recommendations.</p><p>You’ll be responsible for ensuring the books are accurate, building financial visibility across offers and marketing channels, and helping the founder make better business decisions. This role combines strong controller discipline with fractional CFO-level judgment.</p><h3>

Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Own the monthly financial close and ensure accurate, timely financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow).</li><li>Clean up and maintain the chart of accounts and oversee external accountants, tax preparers, and bookkeeping support.</li><li>Build financial reporting for contribution margins, marketing efficiency, payroll costs, cash runway, and profitability by offer and channel.</li><li>Develop rolling cash forecasts, budgets, and financial models to support business decisions.</li><li>Provide monthly written insights and actionable recommendations on profitability, spending, hiring, and growth investments.</li><li>Identify and reduce unnecessary vendor and software expenses.</li><li>Establish financial controls, payment approval processes, and documented workflows.</li><li>Oversee contractor and international payroll processes across multiple countries.</li></ul>
