Expenses Administrator

Salary: R23 000 - R25 000 per month

Remote Recruitment is hiring an Expenses Administrator for a UK employer, fully remote from South Africa.
Role overview

You will own the employee expense process end to end: checking claims against policy, chasing missing receipts and getting people reimbursed on time. It suits someone fair, organised and comfortable saying no politely.

You will work 09:00-17:00 UK time (11:00-19:00 SAST) from home, with equipment guidance, a proper induction and a manager who is contactable through the day. This is a permanent role, not a short contract.
Key responsibilities

- Review and process employee expense claims against company policy

- Chase missing receipts and incomplete submissions

- Prepare reimbursement runs and reconcile to the ledger

- Maintain and administer company card records

- Produce spend summaries by team and category

- Answer expense queries clearly and promptly

What you'll need

- Experience with expenses, accounts payable or finance administration

- Familiarity with an expenses tool such as Concur, Expensify or Pleo

- Confident with Excel and comfortable working to a written policy

- Clear, tactful written English for chasing colleagues

- Reliable home internet and a quiet space for UK-hours work

Nice to have

- Exposure to UK VAT on expenses

- Experience with corporate card programmes

- Familiarity with travel booking processes
