The Enterprise AI and Integration Engineer is a hands-on technical individual contributor responsible for building, integrating, implementing, and supporting enterprise AI, automation, and business system solutions.

This role works directly with business stakeholders, process owners, IT, and technical teams to turn business needs into working solutions. The position takes solutions from technical discovery and proof of concept through development, integration, testing, deployment, and stabilization.

The role is highly hands-on and includes building AI agents and workflows, developing system integrations, configuring enterprise platforms, creating proofs of concept, troubleshooting technical issues, and supporting enterprise system implementations. The Enterprise AI and Integration Engineer may own the technical delivery of assigned initiatives from start to finish while working within established enterprise architecture, security, and technology standards

Job Responsibilities:

- AI, Automation, and Agent Development
- Design, build, configure, test, and deploy AI workflows, copilots, intelligent agents, and automation solutions using approved enterprise platforms

- Develop agent instructions, prompts, tools, knowledge connections, APIs, retrieval mechanisms, guardrails, escalation paths, and human-in-the-loop workflows

- Connect AI solutions with enterprise systems, applications, and data sources

- Build reusable agent patterns, workflows, prompts, connectors, templates, and technical components

- Implement evaluation, monitoring, exception handling, and quality controls for AI-enabled solutions

- Troubleshoot and optimize deployed AI and automation solutions for reliability, performance, usability, and business value

- Systems Integration and Enterprise Applications
- Design, build, test, and support integrations between ERP, CRM, financial, project management, collaboration, operational, data, automation, and AI systems

- Develop and troubleshoot REST APIs, authentication, connectors, data transformations, integration workflows, and event-driven processes

- Configure enterprise applications, workflows, business rules, and related platform capabilities required to deliver business solutions

- Diagnose and resolve technical issues involving APIs, authentication, data flows, integrations, automation, and enterprise applications

- Work with system owners and architects to ensure solutions follow established architecture, security, integration, and change-management standards

- Proofs of Concept and Solution Development
- Rapidly develop proofs of concept and working prototypes to evaluate ideas, technologies, integrations, and AI use cases

- Work directly with stakeholders to demonstrate prototypes, gather feedback, and iterate on solutions

- Convert successful prototypes into secure, tested, documented, and supportable internal products and production solutions

- Evaluate emerging AI, automation, integration, and enterprise platform capabilities through hands-on experimentation

- Develop reusable technical components and patterns that accelerate future implementations
