Rapid7 is seeking an exceptional Director of Product Management to set the definitive strategy and execute the roadmap for our SIEM solution, including data ingestion, threat detection, search and reporting capabilities. This is a highly visible, strategic leadership role where you will define and execute the product strategy for a mission-critical security offering used by organizations worldwide and underpinning Rapid7 ’s Managed Detection and Response (MDR) offering. You will translate customer needs and market insights into a clear roadmap, working cross-functionally with engineering, go-to-market, and customer success teams to deliver scalable, differentiated capabilities in a rapidly changing threat environment.

About the Team

The Threat Detection Product Management team sets the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Rapid7 ’s SIEM platform. Partnering closely with Product Design, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales, the team ensures our strategy translates into differentiated capabilities that position Rapid7 as a leader in the SIEM and MDR markets. About the Role

The Director of Product Management, Threat Detection will translate customer needs and market insights into a clear roadmap, working cross-functionally with engineering, go-to-market, and customer success teams to deliver scalable, differentiated capabilities in a rapidly changing threat environment.

In this role you will:

- Define and Execute Strategic Vision: Drive the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for Rapid7 ’s Next-Generation SIEM and Threat Detection components. Employ a "think big, act small" approach, breaking ambitious goals into time-bound, pivotable milestones to ensure rapid, measurable outcomes.

- Inspire and Align Global Teams: Align and inspire a global, cross-functional organization around key strategic initiatives. Build a powerful network across Engineering, Detection Science, and SOC Operations to deliver sustainable improvements that elevate the Managed Detection and Response (MDR) customer experience.

- Champion Delivery Excellence: Lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality capabilities on time, holding yourself and others accountable for meeting commitments that drive significant customer value.

- Innovate and Optimize: Transform market trends, competitive intelligence, and customer feedback into a prioritized, actionable backlog, continuously pursuing smarter and more disruptive improvements that challenge the status quo.

The Skills You’ll Bring:

- Deep Domain Expertise: 7+ years of progressive product management leadership experience specifically focused on SIEM, Log Management, or SOC platform solutions within high-growth B2B SaaS or cloud environments.

- Technical Mastery: Deep technical expertise in cybersecurity operations, advanced threat detection methodologies, and the nuances of the managed services delivery market.
