We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic compliance leader to serve as Director, Innovative Financial Group (IFG) Sales Compliance. This role is responsible for leading the development, implementation, and oversight of sales compliance programs that ensure adherence to federal and state regulations while supporting business growth and operational excellence.
The Director will oversee teams responsible for agent and agency compliance oversight, ensuring sales practices align with regulatory requirements, carrier expectations, and organizational standards. This leader will partner closely with executive leadership, operations, legal, carrier partners, and regulatory agencies to proactively identify risks, strengthen compliance programs, and promote ethical sales practices throughout the organization. Key Responsibilities
Compliance Leadership & Governance

- Lead IFG's sales compliance strategy and governance programs

- Provide leadership and oversight for compliance teams responsible for agent and agency monitoring, auditing, and regulatory adherence.

- Serve as a primary liaison between IFG, carrier partners, and regulatory agencies.

- Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and controls that support compliant sales operations.

- Lead compliance investigations and direct corrective action plans when issues are identified.

- Escalate emerging compliance concerns internally and externally as appropriate.

Monitoring, Auditing & Risk Management

- Direct ongoing monitoring and auditing activities to identify potential compliance risks and trends.

- Evaluate agent and agency sales practices to ensure adherence to regulatory and carrier requirements.

- Conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.

- Analyze compliance metrics, key performance indicators, and reporting trends to identify areas for improvement.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

- 3+ years of experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, healthcare, insurance, financial services, or a related field.

- 5+ years of leadership experience managing teams and business operations.

- Extensive knowledge of CMS regulations, Medicare Advantage, Medicare marketing guidelines, Medicaid, HIPAA, and insurance compliance requirements.

- Experience working with regulatory agencies, carrier partners, and conducting compliance audits.

- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive organizational change across multiple business functions.

Preferred Qualifications

- Master's degree, MBA, or Juris Doctor (JD).

- Knowledge of insurance sales operations, distribution channels, and agent oversight programs.

Work at Home Requirements: To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria: At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested. In certain roles, the minimum recommended internet speed required by Humana may not be sufficient for business needs. Humana reserves the right to require associates to upgrade their internet service if necessary. Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana 's offices for training or meetings may be required. 40 Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$150,000 - $206,300 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive
