DevOps Intern

This role is primarily focused on data work, alongside light service deployment, operations, and troubleshooting support as our systems grow.

We’re looking for a minimum of a 3-month commitment.

Responsibilities

- Support data gathering and processing work for the product

- Assist with service deployment, operations, and maintenance

- Support troubleshooting and analysis as needed

- Work hands-on with cloud infrastructure and databases

Requirements

- Business-level English or Japanese

- Competency with Shell commands

- Competency with database SQL

- Familiarity with Python

- Experience with AWS (or strong familiarity with a comparable cloud platform)

- You must already hold work authorization valid in Japan (Japanese citizenship, permanent residency, a spouse/dependent visa with work
rights, or a student visa with 資格外活動許可 permitting part-time work). We’re not able to sponsor a new visa for this internship, though there may be a path to a full-time role — and full sponsorship — later.

Nice to haves

While not specifically required, tell us if you have any of the following.

- Business-level Chinese (for cross-team coordination)

- Familiarity with basic Kubernetes (K8s) operations in a cloud-native environment

- Familiarity with common middleware and data flow in enterprise cloud environments
