🚀 About the Role
As a Deal Desk Analyst, you will be a key member of the Legal team, partnering closely with Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and Legal to support the commercial deal process. You will be responsible for pricing and quoting support, deal structuring, drafting Order Forms, managing Quantum's response to customer redlines, and ensuring opportunities are accurately closed in Salesforce (SFDC). Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
🔧 Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of Quantum's product packaging, pricing models, and commercial policies to provide deal structuring and quoting support to Sales and Customer Success
- Draft, review, and manage standard and complex, non-standard Order Forms, serving as the primary Deal Desk contact for Sales, Legal, Finance, and Customer Success throughout the deal cycle
- Review customer redlines to Order Forms, identify potential impacts to deal structure, revenue recognition, and business policies, and guide internal stakeholders on appropriate responses and required approvals
- Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and Legal to structure creative, customer-focused solutions that align with Quantum's commercial and operational policies
- Support opportunity management in Salesforce (SFDC), ensuring opportunities are accurate, complete, and closed in a timely manner
- Proactively identify process improvements and drive initiatives that simplify, standardize, and scale the deal lifecycle
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accurate guidance, clear communication, and a consistent customer experience throughout the quoting and contracting process
- Contribute to Deal Desk scalability through special projects, including automation initiatives, playbook development for non-standard deal structures, dashboards, sales analytics, and performance reporting
💡 Requirements
- Must be located in Eastern or Central Time Zone
- 2+ years of experience in Deal Desk or a similar commercial operations role, including experience structuring and quoting complex SaaS transactions
- Experience with Salesforce (SFDC) and a CPQ platform (DealHub preferred)
- Familiarity with MSAs, Order Forms, and customer contract redlines, including the ability to identify commercial issues, propose acceptable alternatives, and coordinate responses with Legal and cross-functional stakeholders
- Ability to understand business objectives and translate them into practical, scala
