Your Role:
As a Data Engineer, you will:

- Support existing customer implementations and troubleshoot database and data-related issues, providing timely and effective solutions.

- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and data integration solutions.

- Develop and maintain data quality checks and monitoring processes to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and reliability.

- Assist customers in debugging ETL issues, particularly those in the Australasia region.

- Write Python scripts to automate processes and tasks, improving efficiency and reliability.

- Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

What You Need:
Non-negotiables

- Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases, preferably MySQL.

- Strong scripting skills, preferably in Python.

- Experience with ETL processes, data pipelines, and data integration techniques.

- Understanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills, with excellent attention to detail.

- Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with customers and internal teams.

Preferred skills/expertise

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

- Experience in database design, management, and optimization.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

- Experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) integration.

- Background in CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods), food manufacturing, or related industries.

- Experience supporting customer implementations and troubleshooting data integration issues.
